- Decision:
The decision of the Tournament Director is final in all
matters and is not subject to appeal. Interpretation of these rules will be left
exclusively to the Tournament Director. All protest must be made in person before
tournaments winnings are dispersed. - Registration:
Will begin ninety (90) minutes before official start time at the host marina/ramp.
- Participation/Eligibility:
Anyone under eighteen
(18) years of age must have the signature of his or her parent or legal guardian.
The tournament Director has the right to refuse entry to anyone. - Scoring:
All bass fourteen (14) inches or greater in length will be weighed. The tournament
limit is three (3), any contestant who at any time during tournament hours has
more than five (5) in their possession, unless immediately culling, will be disqualified.
- Fish care:
Every effort must be made to keep bass alive
through the use of a properly aerated livewell. If you bring a dead fish to the
scales, you will be penalized one (1) pound per fish off your teams total
weight. - Late penalty:
Contestants who are not at
the official check-in area at the appointed time will be penalized one (1) pound
per minute deducted from the total weight, including any weight to be counted
towards a big bass award. Any contestant more than ten (10) minutes late will
forfeit that days catch. - Safety:
Safe boating
will be observed at all times. All local, state and federal laws apply at all
times. Each contestant must wear a fastened; U.S Coast Guard approved personal
flotation device with kill switch connected when outboard motor is running.
- Permitted fishing methods:
All bass must be caught alive
in a conventional sporting manner. Only artificial lures may be used with the
exception of pork trailers. Only one rod may be used at a time. Trolling with
the combustion engine is prohibited. Your team may only weigh-in fish caught by
your team. Sharing fish with other teams will result in immediate disqualification.
- Sportsmanship/conduct:
All contestants are required
to follow high standards, courtesy, and conservation. Unsportsmanlike conduct
will not be tolerated. - Alcohol/non-prescription drugs:
The use of alcohol and or any non-prescription drugs during tournament hours will
result in immediate disqualification. Tournament hours will be from official start
time until weigh-in is over and awards have been handed out. - Permitted
fishing locations:
Contestants may fish anywhere on tournament waters
accessible by boat, unless marked as designated "off limits". (Per city
and state regulations, you are not permitted to travel beyond the barrels at the
power plant intake or past the buoys near the dam while fishing on Lake Ray Hubbard.)
- Ties:
All ties for cash prizes will be split equally
between contending parties - Take-off:
Trailering
is allowed. You will be able to leave the ramp no more than thirty (30) minutes
before start time, either by vehicle or boat, BUT you may not begin fishing until
official start time. - Tournament Hours:
Official
start time will be posted on our web site and available before each tournament.
All participants must be back to the ramp and checked in at the time determined
by the tournament director, this will be available on our web site and announced
as registration. You must be in line with your fish by official cut off time,
again available on web site and announced at registration, at this time the weigh-in
line will close and the scales will open. - Format:
Each Team can bring up to three (3) fish to weigh-in, weight of all fish will
be combined for a total stringer weight, heavy stringer and small stringer (minimum
of two (2) fish to qualify for small stringer) will be determined from this weight.
Each team will be able to weigh one (1) fish for big bass and one (1) fish for
small bass. - Payout:
$60.00 Entry fee will be divided
as such, $10.00 of each entry will be held back and donated to charity, $10.00
of each entry will go toward Big/Small fish payout. Remaining $40.00 will go toward
Heavy/Small stringer payout. |
